By the hour

Work is charged by the hour, one-hour minimum — you pay for time on the job, not for turning up. Costs agreed before anything proceeds.

No separate diagnostic

Finding the fault is part of that first hour, not an extra line — no diagnostic fee, no call-out charge on top.

Parts estimated before ordering

Common parts like pumps, diverter valves, and pressure relief valves typically take 2–3 hours' labour to fit. Heat exchangers and PCBs may take longer.

What customers say about our boiler repairs

"Boiler kept losing pressure so I gave up and called them. Leaking valve apparently. He didn't have the part on the van but nipped out, got it, and was back to finish the same afternoon. Price was the price, no surprises on the invoice which makes a change."
Rachel Homeowner, Bromley
"Brilliant from start to finish. The engineer (Marek I think) was so polite and explained everything as he went. 👏"
Dawn Homeowner, Bromley
"Boiler had been banging away for weeks then died completely. Someone out the next day, turned out to be the pump. He didn't have one with him but ordered it and was back the following morning to fit it. Heating's been spot on since. Can't fault them."
Marcus Homeowner, Croydon

What happens when you call

Call or WhatsApp

Call 020 8243 4829 or message us on WhatsApp — breakdowns are time-sensitive, so send a photo of the boiler, fault code or leak and we know what we're dealing with before we arrive. We confirm a same-day or next-day window.

Arrival

Engineer arrives in the agreed window. We call 30 minutes ahead.

Fault-finding

We investigate to find the root cause, not just the symptom. This covers the diagnostic fee.

Estimate

A written estimate for time and parts before any work starts. No surprises.

Repair

On the day where we can. If a part needs ordering, we get it as soon as possible and confirm the return date.

Test

Once the repair is complete, we run a full system test before leaving — heating and hot water running correctly, pressure checked, no error codes. If we're waiting on a part, the test happens on the return visit, after the repair.

A repaired boiler still needs its annual service

Most breakdowns we attend trace back to a missed service — sludge, scale and worn seals build up quietly until something gives. Booking the annual service after a repair resets the clock and keeps the manufacturer warranty intact.

  • Annual boiler service: £85 fixed
  • Landlord? CP12 + service combined: £150 — saves £20
  • Single visit at a time that suits

Common questions about boiler repair

How quickly can you get to me?

Same-day in most cases. We cover South London from Central Croydon — most of the area is within 30–45 minutes. Call first thing for the best chance of a same-day slot.

Do you charge a call-out fee on top of the repair?

No. During standard hours (weekdays 8am–6pm) the £85 diagnostic covers attendance and fault identification. Outside those hours — evenings, weekends and bank holidays — work is charged at £170 per hour with a one-hour minimum. If you proceed with the repair, the first hour is included in the total — there is no separate call-out charge on top.

My boiler keeps cutting out and resetting — is that worth repairing or should I replace it?

Intermittent cut-out is usually a specific fault (low pressure, failed sensor, blockage) that is economical to repair. We'll diagnose honestly — if the boiler is at end of life we'll tell you, not carry out a repair that won't hold.

Do you carry parts on the van?

Yes. Common parts for Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal and Baxi are stocked. More unusual parts are ordered same-day where suppliers allow, typically arriving next working day.

Can you repair a boiler that's under warranty?

If the boiler is within the manufacturer's warranty period, contact the manufacturer first — warranty repairs must typically be carried out by their approved engineer network or the warranty is voided. If the warranty has lapsed, we can carry out the repair.

I can smell gas near my boiler. What do I do?

Do not use any electrical switches. Open windows. Leave the property. Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 immediately — they are available 24/7 and this is their job. Only call us once the emergency service has attended and the property is declared safe.
